I am here to get some advice on managing complex service dependencies in Icinga 2. Our setup has grown significantly & i am finding it challenging to efficiently manage dependencies between services, especially with our more intricate configurations.
My question is We have multiple layers of prerequisites where services are dependent on other services that are; in turn, dependent on even more services; What strategies do you recommend for managing these nested dependencies effectively??
What safeguards are there against complex dependencies negatively impacting the performance of our monitoring system??
What are the most effective methods for diagnosing & resolving problems related to service dependencies?

And lasty How can complicated dependency configurations be kept manageable & comprehensible for future administrators? What are the best ways to maintain and document them?
