Unreachable hosts UP

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has had the need to have unreachable hosts (dependencies) show up as down instead of their last state? The InfluxDB writer shows these clearly (num_hosts_unreachable), but this means you get different numbers from that data source as opposed to Icingaweb2.

My scenario is pretty close to the one described here:

My thought would be to create a script that artificially sends a passive checks to the hosts that are unreachable, but I was wondering if such a solution already exists?
