Hello All,

I am getting error while adding ranges in in TimePeriods i.e Days (s) = Monday and TimerPeriods = 00:00-24:00. The error while deploying the configuration through Director is -

[2019-08-27 01:22:18 -0500] critical/config: Error: Validation failed for object ‘24x7x365’ of type ‘TimePeriod’; Attribute ‘ranges’: Invalid time specification ‘Monday’: Invalid time specification: Monday

I can successfully add the ranges in TimePeriod Template.

ICINGA Director V 1.6.2
Icinga Web 2 Version 2.7.1

Could someone please help.

Hi,

timeperiod ranges default to lowercase notation, try monday instead.

Thanks Michael. This is working now. But in TimePeriod template it is accepting the range in upper case i.e. Monday while in TimePeriod it is now. Please see the template screenshot -

Ranges are free form, you can do a lot of magic things in there. Therefore you need to follow the docs from Icinga 2 for them.
