Windows Agent staging failures

I just recognized a surpricingly behaviour of the Windows agent. I opened a file inside C:\ProgramData\icinga2\var\lib\icinga2\api\zones and for other reason I did a reload of icinga2 at the master. The result was a incomplete staging of zones (without any error indication).

For another test I just opened the Windows explorer and navigate to C:\ProgramData\icinga2\var\lib\icinga2\api\zones and with that the staging fails completely (again without any error indication).

Therefore, I’d assume during reload of the agent the directory C:\ProgramData\icinga2\var\lib\icinga2\api\zones is deleted and re-created?

Hi,

holding a file lock on any of these Icinga service owned files will prevent its full operation. Especially with deleting the content. And yes, during a reload the content of the stage directory is purged, with copying the content of the ok-validated staging directory.
