After running the following commands I do not get the latest version of Icingaweb2. Anyone can chip in as to what am I doing wrong?
dnf install https://packages.icinga.com/epel/icinga-rpm-release-8-latest.noarch.rpm
dnf install https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-8.noarch.rpm
dnf install icingaweb2 icingacli
dnf install icingaweb2-selinux
Web browser used: Firefox 101
Icinga 2 version used (icinga2 --version
): 2.13.2-1
PHP version used (php --version
): 8.0
Server operating system and version: Oracle Linux 8.5
In short: You need to pay in order to get the recent prebuild packages. More on that in the following blog post:
We are pleased to announce the general availability of Icinga installation packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Amazon Linux 2 and SUSE Linux Enterprise

Well, does this mean that these packages will not be available unless you pay? or are they going to be available later during the year?
As far as i know building the packages yourself is the only free option to get a version that is releases from this year onwards. So they won’t be released with a delay.
