I am running a very old instance of Icinga2 (2.3.11-1) with a Thruk docker frontend. This is managed by puppet and the config files are generated via a custom program and then applied by automation. We don’t use any DB as far as I know.
I am looking to upgrade to the latest Icinga2, but I notice the upgrade steps require upgrades to be applied incrementally. My question is, do I need to worry about this since I don’t use IcingaWeb2? It seems I should be able to just upgrade and deal with any changes to configs made in the releases?
