Does anyone know if there is an update API call for updating a currently scheduled iCinga downtime? I see on the Icinga2 Api page there is schedule-downtime and remove-downtime, but I see nothing about updating pre existing downtimes.

AFAIN, there is no such option. Once the downtime is set it can’t be changed, and the only feasible option to “change” it is to create a new downtime period and delete the existing one.
