I have recently installed IcingaDB on our two icinga master and I was trying to switch completely from the monitoring module to the icingadb module in icingaweb2.
However, the first to items on the current incidents dashboard are not translated to icingadb urls, i.e. I’ll get an error:
Service Problems
Page not found. Enabling the "monitoring" module might help!
and the URLs remain like this:
Current Incidents
Service Problems monitoring/list/services?service_problem=1&limit=10&sort=service_severity
Recently Recovered Services monitoring/list/services?service_state=0&limit=10&sort=service_last_state_change&dir=desc
All other URLs for the dashboards are correctly translated to icingadb, i.e. the “Host Problems” uses icingadb.
While the monitoring module is enabled, I can use the “Preview this in IcingaDB” links for the current incidents dashboard and all three are translated to IcingaDB. So, it can translate them correctly but it doesn’t for those two on the dashboard, if the monitoring module is disabled.
I’m puzzled what is so special about those two. If I understand correctly, those are the default dashboard URLs…
