Supress some service checks for one (group) of hosts

We have A Service set based on an VM variable (tag) that works great.
it has 5 members and one server has not all of the service installed.
this is ok for this (1) server.

But as expected the status for the service is

“Service not Found”

how can i supress this services set ?
the only option if found for this is on host based and then “Deacvtivate” the service, is this the best way ? for some reason i think ther is a better way to do this …

Hi,

You need to go in Icinga Director->Services->Service Set

There you can edit the assign where, or Delete the Service Set.

Not sure if this will help as your end objective is not clear to me…

Sounds quite reasonable to me as cloning the service set just for one host is a bit much.
