I’m looking for hints to split an existing satellite infrastructure. I have a master zone with master and secondery master, a couple of satellite zones with two satellites each and finally a lot of agents in the satellite zones. Due to a reorganization, one of the satellite zones has to become independent in the future. The databases (e.g. icinga2, director) and the CA are currently only available on the masters. Is there a way with reasonable effort to separate the satellites of one of these zones and convert them into masters?
