i use icinga and I notice that the icinga process periodically tries to establish a connection to different IP addresses on the Internet ( e.g. 220.127.116.11 - Akamai Technologies, Inc. ).
This is not intentional. Is that necessary? Can someone help me?
are you sure it is icinga2, maybe some check of yours tries to establish these connections?
Yes and no. The problem is found. I wrote a powershell script, but this only checks the local system. However, regardless of the script, Powershell initiates an Internet connection every time it is started. The reason can be varied (e.g. certificate check, update check, etc.).
Good to know. Thank you for the offered help.
