I am somewhat new to Icinga2. I have been using for a few years, but not a daily thing. My question is, I have an entry that was put input wrong into icinga2. I removed it from the LS and console, but it is still showing in the icinga2web. When i run the rm cmd to remove it, it says it is not found, but is showing in the web view. How do I force that to remove? As until that is removed, it will not allow me to in put the correct device using that IP address. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How was it put in? Are you using file configuration, or Icinga Director?

What will not allow this? What response do you get when you try? How are you
adding the correct device?

Provide a bit more information about exactly what you are doing and I’m sure
we can work out what you need to do instead
