Removed satelite is still visible in icinga cluster check

I removed a satelite node, now the icinga cluster check for the remaining satelites is CRITICAL because the removed satelite is reported as “not connected”.

I’ve removed the satelite node via director (Infrastructure / Endpoints) and from /etc/icinga2/zones.conf on all satelite nodes.

How i have to tell icinga the satelite is gone?

if you created a host object, be sure that you deleted this also

Thanks, that fixed the problem.

I thought a host in “acknowledged” or “downtime” state wont get into account for the endpoint check.
