Recommended way for Powershell Checks with icinga for windows

Hello,
if i have a powershell check plugin that can check a custom application. Whats the best way to implement that in the icinga for windows agent, if i dont install nrpe?

Add it as a CheckCommand and with a corresponding Service to your Icinga2, and then run it on your Agent(s) from there?

You mean like an Linux plugin?

I would work through Custom Plugins - Icinga for Windows and try to add my check to the new framework.
