Rearrange Dashlet

Hi is there a way to rearrange the dashlet on the dashboard, I am running icinga2 on a linux box.

Currently I have:

Service Problems
Recently Recovered Services
Host Problems

I would like to move host problems above Recently recovered.

no that’s currently not supported. Though, it’s a well desired feature:

Dashlet rearrange

Since the dashboard.ini is stored for the current user atm (might be moved into the database at some point), you can also edit this by hand and ensure a certain order. I’m doing this inside the Vagrant boxes to provision the map module from @nicolaiB with certain default views. Note: There’s concat into play here, so the final dashboard.ini is merged from different datasources in Puppet. Cheers, Michael

As an example: If you use the unedited default dashboard atm, there will be no /etc/icingaweb2/dashboards folder, as this folder and the .ini files are only created “on demand”, when a user edits their dashboard.

So just add something to your dashboard and then edit the .ini file by hand

I know this is a 3 year old thread, but if I’m not mistaking, this still isn’t possible (could only find a roadmap showcasing this https://icinga.com/blog/2020/06/11/current-state-of-development-dashboards/)

Can anyone confirm this is not possible yet?
We’re working on 2.7.3
