I am pretty used to using icinga2 with the ascii files but today i tried to add “passive checks” with different check_intervals. So i created a service template for a passive check with the dummy check etc etc.
Trying to add that to hosts does not let me change the check_interval individually for different stale state times.
I have dummy_state and dummy_text as the variables/fields for the dummy check. I am a bit puzzled. It seems i am only able to set the execution variables in the service template and may not later override them.
Did i miss something?
