Move configs from Director to files

Hello,

I would like to move configs from Director to files. This will be my first ever attempt do that.
How would I go about the migration?

Since Director doesn’t support Icinga2 DSL all the way and files is a better way as I prefer cli and provides DSL flexibility.

You could mix Director and config files.
We do that as well for configs where we need DSL functions for example.
If you know what you are doing I don’t see drawbacks.

If you really want to switch completely I would start with looking under the /var/lib/icinga2/api/zones directory of the current configuration master. Then go through the various folders and recreate the structure under /etc/icinga2/zones.d (without the Director specific folders)
