Monitoring Windows Server Eventlog

Hi all,

at the moment, I am looking to get one last check / service check into my Service-Set for Windows VMs / Windows Server VMs: the Eventlog.

I do have the basic NS++ Client installed and the config.ini has the [/module] check_EventLog enabled I think (it´s value is set to 1). But I struggle on how to set up the Service Check for this? Im not still fairly new to all of the monitoring items so bear with me please :slight_smile:

Any help is highly appreciated!

I would advice you to think about using a central log server and send eventlogs and other logs there.
This way you can use one consistent method to monitor log messages with Icinga2 against your one central log server.
