Monitor HP ilo via snmp

Hi all,

I am trying to Monitor HP ilo4 via SNMP, I have downloaded check_snmp plugin from Nagios and when i check via the script I get below error and when I tried with snmpwalk I get Timeout error.

ImportError: No module named snmpSessionBaseClass

Any suggestions.

There is a ipmi-sensor in /usr/share/icinga2/include/plugins-contrib.d/ipmi.conf,I use it monitor dell idrac,you can try it.

Means how should i use this ?

We use check_ilo2_health since years and highly appreciate.

yes I have already tried with check_il02_health, but i get error you may need to install the Nagios::Plugin module though it installed.
Can’t locate Nagios/Plugin.pm in @INC (you may need to install the Nagios::Plugin module) (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.26.1 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.26 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26 /usr/share/perl/5.26 /usr/local/lib/site_perl /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base) at ./check_ilo2_health.pl line 178.

You need to install additional packages, libmonitoring-plugin-perl for Debian and perl-Monitoring-Plugin.noarch for RedHat.

libmonitoring-plugin-perl this is already installed…

Do you really use V1.66? Your version is trying to load the “old” name:

somehow it asks me to pass the security paremeter while with check_snmp

Required parameter: secname
