is there any known limitation or caveats or best practice regarding the number of satellite zones that an HA master pair/zone can handle? we have a ‘top-down’ design with HA master zone (2 servers) and 4 satellite zones (each with 2 servers) but are hoping to expand ‘sideways’ to lessen the load on the satellites. will there be any drawbacks if we go to say 10,15,20 satellites zones?
If you ensure that the masters are capable of handling the check results and leaving the actual checks to the satellite zones, I don’t see a problem with that.
