Kindly advice on how to Monitor Oracle Cloud instances with Icinga 2, for keeping track of key performance metrices like CPU, Memory, disk, Network bandwidth etc

  • Version used (r2.14.0-1)
  • CentOS Linux 7
  • Icinga Web 2 version - 2.12.1
  • Disabled features: compatlog debuglog elasticsearch gelf graphite icingadb influxdb2 journald livestatus opentsdb perfdata syslog
Enabled features: api checker command ido-mysql influxdb mainlog notification

Hi, kat,

Icinga doesn’t quite work that way. You setup your monitoring and customize it according to your needs.

Quick search provided this information: Install 3rd party software (Nagios Agent) On ExaCS ( OCI )

I don’t have an oracle account, but you might.
