we are using a IPMI check command to check server sensors via ipmi like hdd, fan status, temperature and so on. The server board is an Intel board S2600WF. Two sensors produce in Icinga2 director the status “Critical” because of:
IPMI Status: Critical [OCP Mod Presence = Critical, SAS Mod Presence = Critical, 71 system event log (SEL) entries present]
Neither the OCP Modul nor the SAS Modul are in the server. They are simple not present there. So in the BMC webinterface the status (both of them) is:
OK - Device removed
All the other things works fine. We are using the latest Icinga + director version with PHP 8.3 on Debian 11
We already tried to exclude both ipmi sensor (OCP & SAS) but the status is still “Critical”.
Does anyone know how to correct that?
