Import MIBs en Icinga2

Hello,

I have installed Icinga 2 on Ubuntu 20.04 and I want to import the MIBs to monitor Forcepoint, how can I do it?

  • Icinga Web 2 version 2.11.4
  • Web browser used Edge
  • Icinga 2 version used r2.13.7-1
  • PHP version used 7.4.3-4ubuntu2.18
  • Ubuntu 20.04.6

Icinga has absolutely no idea how to deal with MIBs. This is a job for NET-SNMP and snmp.

As @rsx said Icinga is not responsible for dealing with the MIB files.

Install the snmp and snmp-mibs-downloader packages to have the SNMP commands ready and some basic SNMP MIBs. Then you can simply place you MIB files in /usr/share/snmp/mibs

After that you can use the OIDs or Names with scripts like check_snmp linked above.
