Icingaweb2 - Delayed checks results

Hi,

I’ve Icinga2 2.15.1-1 running with Icingaweb2 2.12.5 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The command transport is Icinga2 API. Using IDO/Mysql with MariaDB-10.11.13

Whenever the service checks are updated, the service check results on the Icingaweb2 UI won’t update quick enough. The livestatus api does show the update fairely quick. Based on the UI observation, the “Last check” and “Next check” gets “red” got on them until they become active again after a few mins or so. Does this mean some issue at the Icinga2 API transport used by Icingaweb2 or an issue with the IDO DB? Please advise if there is a way I can debug this issue.

I’ve seen this behaviour on older version as well even on command transport.

What you see in Icinga Webs Monitoring Module is Data from the IDO. Hows the Database health, is it keeping up with Icinga2? Or is it a couple minutes behind?

The database ( running on separate host ) appeared good and no issue with host performance see. Per icinga log, there were no pending queries either at the time.

Is there anything I need to watch out for on the database host to troubleshoot this issue?
