Per the title my server has run out of data since the perfdata has been built up so much…is it safe to delete the perfdata folder? Is there any unexpected consequences I should be prepared for?
Seems you have unintentionally enabled the perfdata
feature. If you don’t use PNP or any other daemon which processes the performance data files into metrics stored into RRDTool, you are safe to delete them. Also, run icinga2 feature disable perfdata && systemctl restart icinga2
.
For Graphite or InfluxDB, you don’t need the perfdata
feature.
