Icinga Web 2 is using UTF-8 as encoding, so it definitely supports Chinese characters. You should check the charset you’ve configured for the IDO resource in Icinga Web 2. Which should be latin1
, despite you wanting to show non-ASCII chars I know, just use it .
If this doesn’t already help… please head back, though it hopefully does help.
Have you solved the problem?
not yet。The encoding of the icinga web2 database is utf-8,but chinese still can not show in icingaweb2.
wo have solved it…i update the file /etc/icingaweb2/resources.ini,
[icinga_ido]
type = “db”
db = “mysql”
host = “...”
port = “”
dbname = “"
username = "”
password = “****”
charset = “latin1”
change charset to latin1
it works! Thanks very much!
