Ok….final step here (I hope).
Just FYI - New Icinga 2 setup on new VM running Ubuntu 24.04. Icinga 2 setup with Director.
Recently installed Postfix in satellite mode & configured relay to our SMTP server, tests appeared to be working.
Now, I still need to set up the actual notifications themselves. I’ve created a user (myself) but the notifications panel is less than intuitive. (or I’m just stupid)
I can set up some of the pulldowns easy enough, but how do I set up say, a notification for any host that goes offline to send me a notification via email (which will also inlcude SMS via email, so two emails).
How do I set up specific host alerts? Like I want to be notified if our FPS host goes over CPU usage limits, etc?
I can’t find any documentation online that clearly outlines how this part is configured, what the options are, etc.
Hopefully, this is the last time I bother you fine people.
