Hi,
I am struggling to understand the documentation about setting up monitoring of Windows hosts. It seems that with the new framework there are two options.
1 - Icinga Director Self Service API - It seems that this will create a host and some services on the Icinga server?
2 - Configure Icinga Agent to connect to Parents - I’m not sure what this does - maybe sets up a host and some services too?
Does anyone know if this is correct? Is it possible to do “normal” monitoring where you setup a host and services on the Icinga server which then connects to an agent on the Windows machine and monitors it?
