Icinga Downtime option not working from Dashboard

When I am scheduling the downtime from the dashboard to particular host. It is not reflecting in downtimes and it does not stop the alerts. Below are the details. Can someone please help?

  • Icinga Web 2 version : 2.9.5
  • Used modules and their versions (System - About) : Monitoring - 2.9.5
  • Web browser used - Edge
  • Icinga 2 version used (icinga2 --version) - Version": r2.14.3-1
  • PHP version used (php --version) : 7.2.24
  • Server operating system and version: RHEL 8.10

Just to get things right:
You are clicking on http://icinga-test.invalid/icingaweb2/icingadb/host/schedule-downtime?name=example-host
and then it doesn’t show up on http://icinga-test.invalid/icingaweb2/icingadb/downtimes?

What are the permissions of the API User icingadb-web/icingaweb2-module-monitoring is using?

For your Server OS, we already provide Monitoring - 2.12.6 and even Icinga DB Web.

Consider upgrading.
