Fileshipper import - more Hostgroups for 1 Host

Can I assign 2 or 3 host groups to the one host when importing with fileshipper?

groups = [ “Windows”, “Backup” ]

Hello and welcome,

you can assign as much groups to a host as you want. Either the information comes from a file used by fileshipper or you create rules to add more groups during the sync job, even if the groups are not in your source file.

Hi
I keep getting host lists with lots of servers.
Each host got several (2-3) host groups
And here I fail.
How can I do this with a Fileshpper import?
I need an example or link

Did you find a solution? I’ve the same problem. I’d like to assign a host to a Host Group via MySQL Import and Sync Rule.

One host and one group per line or all groups with one host per line?

Sorry the late answer. At this point in time I didn’t know about the “Modifiers” for the imports. Now I import a csv list and converting it while import to an array. The sync rule assign this array to the host.
