I just spun up a fresh icingaweb2(via docker-compose). I’m able to log in. Is there any documentation on how to add hosts and services to this

There’s a bunch of documentation linked on https://icinga.com/docs/. For example, the Monitoring Basics chapter of the Icinga 2 documentation describes how to configure Icinga 2 to monitor hosts and services. If you prefer a web UI for configuration, take a look at the Icinga Director.

A somewhat guided tour is also available in the Get started guide.

And to point you into the right direction:

For configuration via webinterface → Icinga Director

For configuration via Config Files → Icinga2 Docs / IcingaDSL

It doesn’t hurt to read Icinga2 Docs but not all concepts work in Icinga director.
