Downgrade Icingaweb2 2.10.x to 2.9.x

Hey Guys,
hope you are all doing well.

I installed Icinga2 → Icingadb → Icingaweb2 → Icingadb-Web and all seems to work fine except the UI, it’s broken. I found the following topic about the same problem: Icingadb-web breaks UI

As in this topic, I also use Icingaweb2 in version 2.10.1, but Icingadb only supports 2.9.x. Can you tell me, if there is a “dirty” workaround to get it up and running or how to downgrade from 2.10.1 to the latest 2.9.x version? I’m not a linux expert yet

If it is easier to reinstall it with version 2.9.x, can you tell me, how to install the specific version?

  • Icinga2 2.13.3-1
  • Icingadb 1.0.0-rc2
  • Icingaweb2 2.10.1
  • PHP 7.4
  • Debian 11 Bullseye
  • Mariadb 10.5 on a dedicated server

Thanks a lot in advance and best regards

you can check out an old master-build, which currently works for me on 2.10.1
this is the last one with stable requirements on ubuntu 20.04

hi,
thanks a lot!
I deleted the module icingadb and copied the one from your post to /usr/share/icingaweb2/modules/icingadb and now it’s working as expected.

Again, thanks for your help and have a nice weekend.
