Has anyone successfully run the icinga2, icingadb, mariadb, redis, icinga-web stack as docker containers without having to put in extraordinary troubleshooting effort?
I require help and will run through a full list of issues.

Thanks for your post. Unless you say specific what issues you are facing, I can only point you to some places:
Please be aware that this place here is a community forum and no support place. Thus, answers may come from different people, often doing this in their free time.
We do have the icinga master and everything related running in docker containers. My biggest issue is the AD integration being configured by docker env variables. Just cant get them to work, so every restart of the container results in AD integration being lost.
Might be too late already… it took me awhile to figure this out myself. You have to take great care in how you quote. I succeeded with this
