can we monitor absolute or percentage increase of value from previous one? For example, I need to get notification, when temperature increases by 10C from previous value. Any idea how to do it in icinga? thanks

I’d create a new check plugin and configure icinga to handover the previous check result to it. The new check plugin will then execute the original plugin and return the check result based on the difference of both values.
