Delete old zone in director

Hi,

I have a problem with a still exisiting zone in Icingaweb, director. I tried to integrate another satellite to my setup, and everything worked fine, until I wanted to delete the Satellite with it’s endpoint and zone again.

What I tried:

  • delete the satellite (endpoint and zone) in the api directory: /var/lib/icinga2/api/... and rerun the kickstart assistant for pulling. The endpoint has been gone since then. The zone still exists in the director and can be choosen in a drop down menu in the hosts config, But cannot be deployed. It’s just showing up.

  • reload icinga2

My question, is there any directory or conf. file which still contains the zone?
Or is there any trick to delete this odd zone?

I’ve the same problem… there is a ‘external’ old zone what I dont use anymore.
Do you have meanwhile a solution?

You might check the director database in the icinga_endpoint and icinga_zone tables.
