I’ve come across some topics that handle this, but none gave me a notion what direction to go. What I’m looking for seems basic enough. We have a good number of VM’s that we import from vcenter. Lately there are some machines that we have running but just for testing and we don’t really want to include them in our overview. So I’m using modifiers to filter the import. One of them should prevent the import, and I was thinking to do that based on IP or name. So far, I managed to use the “simple match” on on 1 name, but I need to do this on a collection of names. I can’t get the syntaxt right, but I’m starting to doubt this is even possible. I suppose I can make a modifier line / vm, but that seems like the inefficient way to do so.
Any suggestions?
