Check_update.exe does not report all available updates

Hi,

I recognized that the check_update.exe does not report all available Windows Update patches, as can be seen in the screenshot attached.

Is there any reason for that behavior? I checked the parameters but did not find any matching for this particular problem.

System: Windows Server 2016

Hi,

AFAIK check_update.exe does only show important updates.

An update is treated as important when it has the WSUS flag for SecurityUpdates or CriticalUpdates

Did you run the Powershell session in privileged mode (Run as administrator)?

I recommend to have a look into the Powershell plugins.
