Attempting to add Host Template Fields gives Error "There are no data fields available. Please ask an administrator to create such"

Hi

I’m trying to expand a existing host template, to add a couple of fields, but i get the error “There are no data fields available. Please ask an administrator to create such” and the drop down is empty, i do have Custom Fields and these are available to Service Templates, just not Host templates, What would cause this? I was able to add previously.

I have also tried creating a new host template, still the same and completed the service restarts and machine restarts.

Where can i start to try and see what’s happening?

does your host template have a check command?
add dummy or something else. that should fix the problem.
idk if it is a bug or a feature

Ok, Thanks, ill try that, as my Host Template does not have a check command, i just use them as addons to gain access to fields needed by the applied services
