An error occurred:<urlopen error [Errno 111] Connection refused>

Hello community,

I am facing an issue since 2 weeks now and can’t find a solution. I hope one of you can help me.
I installed ncpa on my Proxy and want to run the checks.
What I found so far is:

First when I check with if ncpa is running:
systemctl status ncpa_listener
I get the reponse that the service is running but (exited)
Active: active (exited) since Tue 2020-08-04 14:26:11 CEST; 22h ago

second when I run the check on icinga with the verbose flag I get this error:
An error occurred:<urlopen error [Errno 111] Connection refused>

I hope anyone has an idea what could cause the problem.

Hi @PiMA,

it seems like you’re trying to mix Icinga 2 and Nagios. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I deployd this check on different hosts and it works completeley fine. How can that be a problem with icinga2 and nagios? I’m confused.

I try to accomplish to check some specific ncpa values (cpu, ram, etc) on my proxy. Hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.

Hi @PiMA,

As I know nothing about NCPA, I thought you’re trying to integrate it into your Icinga environment as some kind of agent. Never mind.

I have no idea about NCPA, but this means that the process has exited. So your NCPA isn’t running.
