Mail is the main method but we also use Teams, SMS and if critical business processes go down we even use text2voice to our Pikett phone.

The plugins by the Linuxfabrik, they are the first place I look and if I find nothing I sometimes even write my own and send them a pull request.

I’m not sure who “you” is here? We set up Icinga appliances for customers to check out their computer centres, etc… They use mail, calls & SMS. We use mainly mails from icinga, but have a 24x7 call generator running outside (!) of Icinga to “wake” us for urgent emergencies… /kb
