Hey All, just a note on this.
If you are using a webproxy with ssl termination than the check_http from the Debian package “monitoring-plugins” cannot be used, because it does not have the parameter “–verify-host” to secure that the server who is answering you with a cert is allowed into the cert itself to use it.
I am searching for alternatives and tried to use the “nagios-plugins” but does not got them to run on Debian.
A second alternative i will evaluate is this script here:
Maybe this helps someone not wasting to much time on getting this to be done with this solution here like me .
