Setting up SNMP V3 polling of network devices for first time

Hi there,

I am completely new to icinga and want to set up alerts based on polling network devices via SNMP v3.

Is there a good tutorial out there that explains how to do this?

Hello Noah,

I’m also quite new in Icinga2.

I would recommend you to use the plugins “check_nwc_health”.
When your can run it via shell, it is easier for you to implement it in Icinga.
