i have a service with attached event_command to restart this service. but in the service history i don’t see, when icinga is triggering the event_command. i know it does, but cannot see it.
is there a way to get a notification attached to the event_command? i have my notifications hooked up with a chat system and want to see in the chat, that there was a restart o my service.

Sorry, I don’t know a way (maybe some other people do it). We also are looking for a solution to see this in the icinga history. We wrote e.g. a check and if this is critical the EventHandler should do something. The workarround we did is, that my colleague wrote in the plugin output that the EventHandler would be triggerd and the EventHandler Script write into a logfile what it did. Not fine, but it works.
