Icinga2 - The Icinga 2 network monitoring daemon not working

Need some help. After installing Icinga2 I am not able to enable features. The following is the message I receive:
root@icingaserver:/tmp# icinga2 feature list
bash: icinga2: command not found
Please advise

Hi,

to help you to find the problem we need more details. Which operating system you are using? What installation steps did you take? Have you installed from source or from the provided packages at http://packages.icinga.com?

Best regards
Michael

Hi Michael,

This is the version of Debian I am using:

Linux icingaserver 4.19.0-5-686 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.37-5+deb10u2 (2019-08-08) i686

I used the traditional download method thru the Packages in icinga.

The following are the packages used to install Icinga:

deb https://packages.icinga.com/debian icinga-buster main
deb-src https://packages.icinga.com/debian icinga-buster main

After install the software I discovered that I could not check any icinga daemon commands.

This is the result when I try to check “icinga2 feature list”

wrivera@icingaserver:/$ icinga2 feature list
-bash: icinga2: command not found

Let me know if I missed a step in the install that is causing this anomality.
