# Icinga2 migration

Hello to the whole community,

Currently we have a icingaweb2 server working in a dvlp-zone and we want to migrate this data to another server that will be the final production one.  
We don´t have clear if we should create a new zone in the new production server and migrate the data or keep the current zone in the new server.

We´ve been doing tests importing baskets, but it didn´t work properly. Commands could not be executed due to zone problems.

Could you guide us a little bit about how migrate data?

**Current configuration:**

icinga2 -v  
icinga2 - The Icinga 2 network monitoring daemon (version: r2.14.3-1)

**FEATURES**

about zones, we have only one zone in addition to the global zone
