I upgraded my Ubuntu 16.04 Server to Ubuntu 18.04 without issues (I wanted to test the new icingadb).
The Icinga2 Packages are also upgraded to 18.04 ones.
My only problem is with the graphite stats. In the cli I see, taht the whisper files still get updates but on the webfrontend I get count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable
I found an older issue:
