new Icinga user here.
We use Icinga Web 2 Version 2.6.2, and we monitor World-Wide GWs using ping.
The test also dispatches a Slack alert.
For some nodes (strangely not all, and this is why I am posting here), we receive a DOWN notification when connectivity is lost, but they then recover without notification (even though transition types do mention ‘Recovery’ and states do mention ‘OK’).
This isn’t an all-too-frequent occurrence but still happens from time to time.
Any idea what we may be missing?
