Have OpsGenie and Opsgenie alerting connected.
Question is it possible to configure Icinga check host first and then services?
Because sometimes it happens that Icinga sends first alert that services down so Opsgenie create separate alerts and then one for host.
Icinga has a implicit dependency on the host check for every service check on the host, so it will stop alerting for services if the host check fails but because of scheduling a service check can fail before the next host check will detect that the host is unreachable. You can give the host checks a tighter schedule and/or the service checks more check attempts so that OpsGenie doesn’t get the service alert for hosts that are down.
