Filter Hosts with custom vars in the Director?

Hi,

I have hundreds of switches inside the director and sometime i need to change many of them that have a special custom var, like f.e,. vendor =“cisco”. Is there a way to filter the view by custom var or hostgroup?

what you need is the Cube module

When combined with Director, you can search the specific variable and get the list of those hosts, and then there is an option to “modify” and that allows modification on all the selected hosts.
