I have an Icinga2 with Icinga2web and Icinga2 Director. When I want to set a downtime or acknowledge a problem it doesn’t work. I get no error message. In the logs I did also not find error messages.

Can you please share more details about your setup, the versions of Icinga 2 and Icinga Web 2 including the distribution you’re running on.
Also, please share details about the monitoring module’s command transport. Are you using the command pipe, or the REST API?
What happens when you trigger a command via the web interface inside icinga2.log?

I have icinga 2.11.2-1 and icingaweb 2.7.3 the director is 1.7.2 the distribution is opensuse Leap 15.1.
The command transport is the command pipe.

Hi,
the command pipe has the problem that it is “one shot” only with no error feedback. Therefore we’ve created the Icinga 2 REST API as command transport. Might be a good idea to try this method instead.
